The Fully Perforated Mesh Basket (A version) is built from perforated sheet across the floor and all four walls, with the corners of the footprint cut away rather than squared off. Those chamfered corners are the detail that matters at the bench: they take out the tight 90 degree angle that a wipe cannot get into, and they give the basket a cut-corner footprint that handles and stacks without sharp corners catching on a bench edge or on the basket below. The perforation runs across every face in one fine square pattern, so what the basket retains does not change with the way a part happens to settle, and there are no wire crossings anywhere for soil to lodge in. A removable lid with a closing latch turns the open basket into a closed container for carrying between rooms, and the lid handle folds flat when it is not in use. Foldable handles on the two short sides drop out of the way in the wash and in the steriliser. An internal support frame keeps the fine perforated panels flat and the basket square under load.
